Unveiling Ceremony in First Domestic Reference Plant for Smart Manufacturing Provided by MK

The first reference in China for KuanZhai smart plant provided by MK was opened in Sep 2021. Madam Lili, the Chairman and President of MK, and Mr. Roy Xu, the VP and GM of MK, took part in the ceremony together with other managers from SiChuanKuanZhai. This plant is a model for transition from the traditional printing to digital and smart printing in printing industry and also a good sample for MK to promote the application of smart factory in package printing.

In 2020 MK won the bid and was the provider of digitalized workshop-in package printing which is advocated by national department of Industry and Information and also market demand. Since then, MK has been working on the whole planning of integrated workshop and technical services for more than 40 customers in package industry.

Starting from planning, MK integrated the concept of smart factory in the whole construction work of KuanZhai,including the layout, equipment selection, technology and anticipated capacity.

Up to now the phase I has been put into operation successfully with application of MES,WMS, Dispatch Room, comprehensive storage and AGV, which means the fine management and its idea was set up with digitalization and transparency in production being implemented, meanwhile productivity and quality have been much more improved then the operation cost and labor intensity being lowered gradually.

With the phase I into operation, the preliminary structure is available for its smart factory followed by the deeper cooperation of two parties on technology application, after-sale support, training and demonstration in order to realize the mutual improvement and winning in smart manufacturing and smart printing.
