The new smart manufacturing headquarters of MK was put into operation a few days ago, showing that the main construction work was smoothly finished including the R&D center and production line for printing equipment and then new additional capacity with high quality is available.
The total coverage of new headquarters is 328mu with built-up area of 126,000sqm and total investment of 1Billion Yuan RMB, including the whole solution for smart printing plant, production line for smart packaging , production line for smart eco-friendly gravure press, large-format die cutting and hot stamping machine, high-speed die-cutter, production line for smart folder gluer, JV for high-end parts manufacturing, auxiliary manufacturing units including new material production for printing equipment and AGV manufacturing, etc. With the new headquarters, the volume, product support and smart manufacturing will be strengthened largely and double capacity can be realized with all units in full capacity.
Starting from the engineering, the new headquarters was built in line with, including the basic infrastructure facilities, general layout and equipment imported in order to ensure the top-level JV worldwide available together with HDM. Eco-friendly and smart manufacturing is always the concept of new workshop starting from engineering, German Industry 4.0 is referred based on the cooperation with HDM including the infrastructure facilities, general layout and equipment import. The worldwide top-level is reached in the new workshop based on 3-year elaborating construction and up-to-date machine and technology adopted.Substantial work of R&D and test have been finished for the new products and mass production and market release will be gradually available in 2021.With the ramp-up of new JV, the smart manufacturing and supply chain of MK will be further improved and sustainable business growth will be realized based on the long-year accumulated experience for innovation on R&D and manufacturing.Madam Li li, the Chairman and President of MK said.
